Great.. It happened.. Again!

There I was, telling the Little One: "Dear brother, why aren't you bathed yet? Why do you still go around all Stinky?"
I said that thinking that maybe a good, stern voice might compel him to get up and go bathe seeing as it is already 8 something p.m...

What did I get for that?

A highly sarcastic, know-it-all comeback from him with a hint of "I-will-win-by-yelling-since-dad's-here" attitude.. Yeah.. REAL mature.
To rub salt in the wounds, BigBoss - who in turn really HATES it when Little One yells and will hate the people responsible for such treachery - added: "I told u not to pay attention to all this nonsense and crap." He actually AGREED with Little One..

Way to go. Strike number idunno for me.. Losing to a 12yo I can graciously accept. But being degraded and belittled like that? No way.

No wonder none of the others listen to me or my commanding voice.. My voice only repeats and echoes YOUR orders and teachings, BigBoss. I never deviate much at all. But being humiliated and pwned like that?! Now I know why none of my advice ever gets through that thick fat of his.. or the thick skulls of the other two.. [I cherish the middle one because he is my partner-in-crime, the best man for my (possibly non-existent) wedding..]

One thing I learnt in all those leadership camps is that when a leader loses face, i.e humiliated to a certain degree, his charge will no longer feel the need to follow his instructions and the leader will be made to look redundant.. Basically, they feel that the leader has lost his credibility.

Based on the scars of my past and the skeletons in my closet that you already know of, please have a heart.
I do NOT want them to become like #2. She is rude, self-centered and inconsiderate. But honestly though, what you are doing to him, I fear will only cause you more hardship in the future.
How am I supposed to teach him anything if 1) He doesn't even bother listening to me? 2) Every time I try to teach him a lesson, he screams his lungs out, and you LET HIM WIN? and 3) You baby him every living moment of his life?

Anywho, thank you so much for the public humiliation. You're right, BigBoss. I am CRAP. At least now every time I look in the mirror, I see exactly the person you were trying to prevent me from becoming. So please let me stop him from going down that same path..
